ERNST WIESNER - 10 HOUSES
VILLAS AND HOUSES 1919-1934
This collection of 10 of Wiesner's structures is being published upon the occasion of the
reconstruction of Stiassny villa and Münz villa in the year 2014. Everything began with the
collecting of documentation material concerning Wiesner’s structures in connection with work
on the design of the reconstruction of Münz villa. The gathering of this data was begun by
a group of students from the architecture faculty who visited the house, carried out new
measurements and drew new publication plans. Additional already working young architects
later joined the project and work could begin on the preparation of one publication on the level
of all ten selected structures.
